Description

This is an early 18th-century house located on the west side of Broad Street in Brinklow. The building is constructed of brick, with a slate roof and brick stacks positioned along the ridge and at the ends. It is two storeys high and has a two-window front. A plank door is set within a 19th-century moulded wooden surround. The windows are 19th-century three-light casements, one on each floor. Inside, there are some original chamfered beams with ogee and run-out stops. An open fireplace has been created, replacing the original. The house may contain original roof timbers. It is included on the listing for its group value.
