Description

No. 50 Broad Street is a 17th-century house that features a timber frame with plaster and brick infill, topped with a thatched roof. It has one storey plus an attic and a three-window range. A 20th-century door is located at the center, set within a 19th-century brick porch that has a gabled tile roof. To the right of the door is a 19th-century three-light casement window, while the center and left sides have 19th-century bays with three-light casements. There is a continuous 19th-century pentice above the ground storey windows. The house also has dormers on the center and left sides, which contain 19th-century four-light casements. Inside, original timbers are visible, featuring chamfered edges, some with ogee stops.
