Description
Dunsmore House is a mid-18th century brick house located on the west side of Brinklow Broad Street. It is built in Flemish bond and features an old tile roof with brick stacks at both ends. The house has three storeys and a five-window range. The entrance has an altered six-panelled door with a radiating fanlight that includes wreathed decoration, all set within a Doric porch topped with an open pediment. The ground and first storeys have 12-pane horned sash windows with stucco lintels and keyblocks above. In the centre of the second storey, there is a circular four-pane window framed by segmental brick surrounds and four stucco keyblocks. Flanking this window are two round-headed six-pane sash windows, each with segmental brick arches and stucco keyblocks. The exterior also features a plinth, a band at the first storey, and a moulded wood eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
