KINGSBURY FOUL END SP29SW 11/57 Orchard Cottage and adjoining 18/08/81 barn - ll

Cottage and attached barn C17; considerably altered and extended mid/late C20 Timber-framed with brick infill and stone, but mostly refaced in cnlourwashed brick. Old plain-tile roof; stone external stack to right end. 2-unit extended to L-plan, with C20 wing to rear. One stormy and attic; 3-window range. Main front to garden has C20 glazed doors and porch. C20 fenestration with leaded 2- and 3-light casements and canted bay window to right, C20 half-dormer off left and 2 hipped dormers. C17/C18 barn on left is mostly of stone. Double doors, with window above. Left return side is partly of brick, and has timber-framed gable with brick infill. Rear, towards road, has C20 wing an loin, with panelled door and hood. Irregular fenestration. Low rubble and whitewashed brick range across barn on right has catslide roof. Interior is noted as having some exposed framing. (VCH: Warwickshire: Vol lV p101)
