Description
Whitacre Hall is a farmhouse mainly built in the mid-19th century, with a 17th-century rear wing. The building is constructed of roughcast brick and features a half-hipped plain tile roof, along with brick stacks that have lozenge section shafts. It has a T-shaped plan, with the main range aligned east-west facing south and a rear wing consisting of two parallel ranges, showcasing Tudor Gothic details. The structure is two storeys high and has three windows, which are mullioned casements with Tudor hood moulds. A central gabled porch features a half-glazed double-leaf door set beneath a four-centred arch, with a blind lancet above. Inside, the 17th-century range includes chamfered ceiling beams. The building is included for its group value.
