Description
The outbuilding located immediately southwest of Botts Green Hall is a late 16th-century structure with a 19th-century extension. The ground floor is constructed of sandstone rubble, while the upper storey is timber-framed with pilaster infill panels and features a red brick extension. It has a plain tile roof. The original 16th-century building is square in shape, with a plank door on the south side that has a 4-centred head and a chamfered surround. The north wall contains a blocked window. The upper storey features two tiers of square panels with herringbone pattern bracing. The east gable projects and is supported by a bressumer. The western bay, likely added in the early 19th century, has a plank door on the south side with a segmental head.
