Description
The Old Rectory is an early 19th-century rectory that has been converted into a house. It is built of red brick in Flemish bond and features a plain-tiled roof with parapet gables and a north end stack. The building has a main range with a parallel rear service range on the west side, and it stands two storeys high with an attic. There are two pedimented dormers that contain original leaded light casements. The front of the house has a symmetrical arrangement of five windows, which are flush frame cross-frame casements set under flat arches, painted, and featuring raised key blocks. The central doorway includes a rectangular fanlight with a central mullion and a four-panelled door. Additionally, a two-storey canted bay was added later in the 19th century to the south gable end.
