Description

The River Bridge, located over Whitacre Coleshill Road, is a bridge dating from the 14th to 15th century, with widenings in the 17th century and again in 1925. It is constructed from squared and coursed sandstone. Originally, the bridge was 4 feet wide and features a single arch supported by four chamfered ribs. The 17th-century widening includes a round-headed arch and a parapet made of squared sandstone.
