Description

NETHER WHITACRE TAMWORTH ROAD SP29SW (North side) 5/104 The Ashes 28/04/82 - II House. Early C19. Red brick; slate roof; brick integral end stacks. 2 storeys. 3 bays: 16-pane glazing bar sashes with wedge-shaped lintels grooved as voussoirs and raised keys. Central 6-panel door, the upper 2 panels glazed, with moulded wooden surround and rectangular overlight with patterned glazing bars. The porch retains fragments of fretted wood work and a lead covered roof with concave sides. Inside is a panelled ceiling. Interior not inspected.
