Farmhouse. Early C19. Rendered brickwork; tiled roof; end stacks. T-shaped plan. 2-storey, 4-window front in 2 parts; set-back wing to right a symmetrical composition of glazing bar sash windows in moulded raised surrounds, the outer tripartite; central entrance with cornice on moulded architrave; overlight and 4-panel door; widely projecting gable to left (with a smaller gable run up the side) of one window. The house possibly has some connection with the Caldon Canal as it is situated close to Froghall Wharf (q.v.).
