Description

Dell Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse, altered in the 19th century with the addition of rear wings. It is constructed of rendered brick with a steeply pitched slate roof, featuring brick end stacks and a single off-centre ridge stack, the right-hand end stack partially projecting. The original main range comprises three bays, with two centrally placed, gabled rear wings. The building is two storeys high, although the rear wings are of a lower height. A door, positioned between bays one and two, has a moulded wooden surround and a small hood supported by moulded brackets. There are three tripartite windows on the ground floor and two on the first floor, with several windows featuring horizontal sliding sashes and horizontal glazing bars. A rendered gable porch has been added to the rear wings.
