Description
Froghall Bridge consists of two road bridges that cross over the river and railway. The former bridge dates from the 18th century, while the latter was built in the mid-19th century. Both bridges are constructed from rusticated ashlar stone. The river bridge features a wide elliptical arch with low imposts and roll-moulding at carriageway level. The attached railway bridge has a higher impost and parapet level, along with a smaller elliptical arch. Together, these bridges create a nearly seamless structure.
