Description
The Leys Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the mid-18th century, with a wing added in the early 19th century. It features a red brick façade that is faced with coursed dressed and squared stone, which is also used for the quoins. The roof is tiled and has a dentil eaves band. There are end stacks on the left side of the building. The farmhouse is three stories high and has a three-window front. The ground and first floors have segmental-headed casements with three lights, while the center of the first floor has two lights, and the second floor above is blind. The entrance is centrally located and features a segmental-headed design with a six-panel door. To the left-hand end, there is a projecting stone wing with verge parapets. The right-hand return side has a range of two-light block mullioned casements, although one has been removed, and there is a raised band at the first-floor level.
