CHEDDLETON C.P. FELTHOUSE LANE SJ 95 SE 5/73 Barn and cow house - approx. 50m north- west of The Felthouse

GV II

Barn and cow house. C17 with C20 alterations. Coursed dressed and squared stone, tiled roof; verge parapets on corbelled kneelers; coping now part missing. Long low frontage of hay loft over byres and sheds; single boarded hay loft door to right of centre, 2 slit vents to right and one to left; ground floor has 3 heavy-lintel C17 door openings to centre and right, the outer pair blocked by top- hung casements; further C20 casement to right of operational door; large double boarded doors to left. Faces The Felthouse (q.v.) across a substantial fold-yard.
