GV II

Lodge. Dated 1852 on left gable. Rock-faced red sandstone ashlar; shaped tile roof with crested ridge on widely projecting eaves and verges bearing cusped and fretted barge boards and finials; twin- shafted octagonal stack to centre of ridge. Cruciform plan. Single- storey and attic, 3-window front, slightly projecting gable offset to right with small window to attic over similarly projecting gabled porch with Tudor-arch entrance and Sneyd coat-of-arms in apex; longer wing to left has 2 small stone transomed windows. 3-sided hipped stone roofed bay window to road gable frontage. Included as a complete example.
