Description
This building is a barn located to the north of Felton House, dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is constructed of random rubble with rusticated dressed stone quoins, rubbed bricks around the openings, stone copings, and a pantile roof. The barn features a four-bay range with a lower addition on the right side. There are two segmental-headed doorways and windows, along with plank doors and 20th-century casements. The barn also has two upper circular pitching eyes with plank doors and a steeply gabled roof that includes gable apex finials. Inside, the barn has chamfered beams with run-out stops that support continuous flooring, and there is a central stone partition. The roof structure is not accessible.
