Description

This is a house dating from the 17th century, with later alterations. It is timber-framed with brick infill, and some brick rebuilding, topped with a plain tile roof. There are brick stacks, one rising from the ridge and another at the corner. The house has an L-shaped plan, with the main east-west range (facing south) and a north-south wing projecting to the east. It is one storey high with an attic, divided into two bays on the main range and one on the wing. It has casement windows, and a central eyebrow dormer. A door is located to the right of centre, in the angle between the main range and the wing. The left-hand (west) gable has square panels and straight braces, which are partly hidden by an attached garage. The roof features a collar and tie beam truss. The interior has not been inspected.
