Description
This is a late 17th-century house with later alterations. It’s timber-framed with brick infill, and some brick rebuilding, and has a plain tile roof with brick ridge stacks. Originally a four-bay, lobby-entry plan house, it is aligned east-west and faces north. The house is one storey and has an attic. The upper section of the front has three square panels with straight bracing to the eaves. There are five windows, which are 20th-century casements with leaded lights, and two gabled dormers to the left of centre and in the centre. A door has been blocked up to the right of centre. The left-hand gable reveals an exposed queen strut truss and V-struts above the collar. The current entrance is located in the left-hand gable.
