House. Mainly late C17 but incorporating earlier elements (thick front wall and re-used timber) from building in existence by 1367, and with extension and interior remodelling of c1800. Stucco; tile roofs with brick stacks. PLAN: 2-unit plan with wing to left, single-storey wing projecting to right, and double-depth rear wing. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic; 2 gables with parapet between, and parapet between lateral stack and left gable; tall single-storey wing below gable to right. Entrance to left had ashlar porch with panelled pilasters, frieze and cornice, half-glazed door with small-paned glazing over 2 flush panels. Windows have sills, one to ground floor has 12-pane sash, 2 to 1st floor have 9-pane sashes, attic has 2 casement windows. Wing to right has end truncated stack and 3 return windows with 12-pane sashes. 3-window wing to left has coped gable and architraved 12-pane sashes. Right return has 3 gables and varied fenestration including 6/3-pane sash to ground floor, 2 pegged cross-casements with leaded glazing to 1st floor and 2-light leaded casements. Left return has varied casements adjacent to rear of left wing, which has windows with brick sills and heads and 16-pane and 4/8-pane sashes; rear of wing has L-plan single-storey service wing.
