Description

The front garden wall and gate piers to The Deanery, built around 1707, extend approximately 37.5 meters along the front garden. The wall features a recess for a gate toward the right end and includes a left return wall of about 15 meters. Constructed of brick with ashlar dressings, the wall is topped with ashlar coping. The gate piers are rusticated and topped with ball finials. This structure is included for its group value.
