Description

Laurel Cottage and Office Cottage is an early 19th-century coach house and stables that has been converted into a pair of houses. The building was remodelled in the mid-19th century. Constructed of red brick, it features a plain tile roof to the left-hand side and a low-pitched hipped slate roof to the right. Brick ridge stacks are also present. The building is two storeys high, with a floor band and dentilled eaves course. It has a 4:1:3 bay facade, with mainly glazing bar casements and 16-pane glazing bar sashes. A central break is topped by a pediment and contains a segmental-headed door, flanked by wings that each have a pedimented porch. The porch to the right has a 6-panelled door and the porch to the left a glazed door. Blocked carriage arches are visible to the central break and to the centre of each wing. A 2-leaf garage door is located on the left-hand side.
