Description
Laurel Villa and two attached houses are three connected homes from the 18th century, although parts of the core may be older. They are built from random rubble, some of which is colourwashed, and feature hipped and gabled roofs made of pantiles and slate, along with a single ashlar stack and four brick stacks.
Laurel Villa is two storeys high with two bays, showcasing 16-pane sash windows that have painted lintels. The central door is set within a painted dressed stone surround and features a brick relieving arch above it. The door is a six-panelled design, with the top two panels being glazed.
The adjacent cottage is also two storeys tall with a single bay, featuring three-light stone-mullioned windows. Its door is located on the right side and is a plank door set beneath a porch with a snail pent roof.
The house on the extreme west is set back and is also two storeys high with two bays. It has 12-pane flush mounted sash windows on the first floor and a two-light casement window on the ground floor, which is positioned under a stopped label. The door is nearly central and is a plank door. There is an outshut to the right with a catslide roof.
