Description

The Old Bakery is a late 18th-century house located on the north side of Long Street in Croscombe. The house is constructed of random rubble with a slate roof, featuring coped verges and end brick stacks. It has two storeys and originally had three bays across the front, with two bays remaining. The windows are 12-pane sashes in dressed stone surrounds, with the exception of a 3-light casement with glazing bars on the ground floor to the right, also in a dressed stone surround. There are two door openings: one to the left, containing a 20th-century panelled door within a dressed stone surround, and one to the right, featuring French windows with a cornice dripmould in a dressed stone surround.
