Description

Fig Tree Cottage is a cottage dating from the 16th or 17th century. It is constructed of random rubble and features a coped verge on the left side, a double Roman tile roof, a brick ridge stack, and a truncated exposed rubble stack on the right return. The building has two storeys and two bays. On the first floor, there are two-light ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned windows with iron stanchions and leaded lights. The ground floor has a similarly moulded three-light casement window, which includes a stopped label. To the right of the window, there is a door opening with a plank door.
