Description

Holly Cottage is a 17th-century house located on the north side of Long Street in Croscombe. It is built of random rubble with a pantile roof that features a coped verge on the right side and three brick ridge stacks. The house has a cross-passage plan and stands two storeys high with three bays. It includes two and three-light moulded stone-mullioned windows that are set beneath stopped labels. There are two door openings; the left one is in a roughly dressed stone surround but is now blocked and has a 2-light casement inserted, while the right door features a 20th-century half-glazed door.
