Description

Paradise House is an early 19th-century house located on Long Street in Croscombe. The exterior features stucco that is scribed to imitate ashlar stone, with end pilasters that have vertical grooving. The house has a slate roof with coped verges and end brick stacks. It has a symmetrical frontage with two storeys and three bays, showcasing 12-pane sash windows set in dressed stone surrounds. The central door opening contains a six-panelled door topped with a fanlight that has radiating glazing bars. The doorcase is adorned with Tuscan pilasters that support a triglyph frieze and a moulded cornice.
