Description
The Bagot Arms is an 18th-century inn with later alterations and additions. It is built of roughcast brick and features a plain tile roof, with brick integral end stacks; the eastern stack is roughcast, and there is a brick ridge stack. The building was formerly a lobby-entry design and has two storeys plus a gable-lit attic. It displays floor bands and a dentilled eaves course. The facade includes two windows, which are three-light casements with false shutters, while the ground floor center window has two lights. To the right, there is a low flat-roofed extension. Inside, there is a large open fireplace. The inn is prominently located on the main thoroughfare through the village.
