Description
The Royal Ruchi is a former inn dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tile roof, with a brick integral end stack and a panelled brick ridge stack. The building has a lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high with a gable-lit attic. It includes a first-floor band and a moulded eaves course. There are four windows with segmental heads and shaped lintels, with casements; the window on the first floor to the right of centre is blind, and there is a slightly bayed window on the ground floor to the left of centre. A six-panelled door is located to the right of centre, framed by a moulded door case. Additionally, there is a low single bay extension to the right.
