Description

Chesterton House is an early 18th-century house located on the north side of Bagot Street in Abbots Bromley. The building is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and a brick ridge stack. It has a gable end facing the street. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and features floor bands and a moulded eaves course to each side. There are two windows on each upper level; the first-floor and attic windows are casements with shaped lintels and raised keystones. A six-panelled door is set within a panelled doorcase, and is accessed by a flight of steps. The interior has been altered.
