Description

Crofts Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with remodelling in the 18th century. The earlier structure is timber-framed with a red brick facade, while the end stack is brick. The house is two storeys high and has three windows, featuring glazing bar casements. A six-panelled door is located to the left of centre, approached by a short flight of steps. A low, lean-to extension is present to the right, incorporating garage doors. Both gables display exposed timber roof trusses; the eastern gable’s truss features V-struts above the collar.
