Description
Cedar Cottage, along with its gate and railings, is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a clay tile roof with brick stacks at the ends. The building stands two storeys high with a gable-lit attic and includes a first-floor band. It has two bays with metal casements that have shaped lintels and raised keys. The ground floor on the left has paired bay windows flanking a blocked doorway. The entrance is a roughly central six-panelled door, also with a raised key and shaped lintel. The property is enclosed by a cast iron gate and railings adorned with fleur-de-lys heads, which surround a small front garden.
