Description

This milestone, located approximately 50 meters north of Upper Mill Farmhouse, dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is made of white painted stone with a black base and black lettering. The top is rounded and ledged. The word "MILES" is inscribed radially at the top, with "B.CASTLE 6" and "SHREWSBURY/14" below.
