Description

Bank Cottage is a labourer's cottage built in the mid-19th century, featuring later additions and alterations. The exterior is made of uncoursed limestone rubble with a slate roof that has projecting eaves and verges. It includes an integral end stack with paired red brick shafts. The cottage has two storeys and two windows, with a central 20th-century door located beneath a 20th-century porch. The windows are multi-paned metal casements with Gothic glazing, and those on the ground floor are set under cambered heads. To the left, there is a late 20th-century gabled extension that is designed in a similar style.
