Description

Walkmill Bridge is a bridge over the River East Onny, likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of roughly coursed limestone rubble, featuring a flat string course and a capping on the parapet. The bridge has twin squinch arches with voussoirs and a cutwater in between. On the south side, the original parapet has been replaced with iron rails. The bridge is included for its group value.
