Description

This milestone, located approximately 300 metres east of Lydham Manor, dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is made of white painted stone with a black base and black lettering. The milestone features a rounded top and is inscribed with the word "MILES" at the top in a radial format, along with the destinations "B CASTLE 1/SHREWSBURY 21".
