Description

The building is a coat of arms within an aedicule, dating to circa 1781 and relocated in 1951. It is constructed from sandstone, using coursed rubble and ashlar. The design features a round-headed blocked arch with a slightly raised key, framing the Clive Coat of Arms. This coat of arms was originally part of the Old Market Hall, which was demolished in 1951. The coat of arms displays the motto "TRIA UNCTA IN UNO" and the date MDCCLXXXI (1781). The walls and other remains of the Old Market Hall are not part of this listed building.
