Description
The House is a Grade II listed building located on Bull Street in Bishop's Castle, dating from around 1800. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof. The house stands three storeys tall and has a dentil brick eaves cornice along with a semi-integral end stack on the right side. The façade consists of two bays, with glazing bar sash windows that have gauged brick heads; there are 16-pane windows on the ground floor and a blind window on the second floor. To the left, there is a six flush-panelled door that is adorned with a wreathed radial fanlight, a pilastered surround, and fluted brackets that support an open triangular pediment.
Inside, the building features a dog-leg staircase from around 1800, which has an open string, shaped tread-ends, turned balusters (two per tread), a ramped moulded handrail, and columnular newel posts.
