Description

This is a summerhouse built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is made of red brick, painted on three sides, and features a pyramidal roof covered with graded stone slates. The structure has an octagonal plan and is a single storey high. On the south side, there are two 16-pane glazing bar sash windows flanking boarded double doors. The summerhouse is located next to a bowling green, which was created in the 17th or 18th century on the flattened top of the former castle motte, where the remains of the castle can still be seen.
