Description
This building is a barn and cowhouse or stable located to the east of 9 Whittcott Keysett. It dates from the mid-19th century to the late 19th century and is divided into two parts, with the site sloping from west to east.
The barn on the west side features a weatherboarded timber frame set on a high coursed rubble plinth, with a slate roof. It likely consists of three framed bays and is one storey high with a loft. There are three boarded loft doors and two two-leaf ground floor doors on the left side.
The lower cowhouse or stable on the right side has rubblestone on the left and a weatherboarded timber frame on the right, also topped with a slate roof. It includes a small window with a segmental brick head and a boarded door on the left, along with a boarded loft door and two boarded ground floor doors on the right.
