Description
Little Bicton is a house that likely dates from the 17th century and was remodeled in the mid-to-late 19th century. It is probably timber framed and has been refaced or rebuilt with coursed limestone rubble. The first floor features tile hanging, and the roof is covered with plain tiles from the 20th century. The house has a baffle entry plan with a projecting gabled cross wing and stands two storeys tall. There is a large central stone ridge stack located above the door. The main range includes two mid-to-late 19th-century two-light casements on the first floor and one ground floor two-light casement to the left. To the right, there is a boarded door with a 20th-century timber framed gabled porch, and each floor of the right-hand cross wing has one mid-to-late 19th-century two-light casement. Additionally, there is a one-storey lean-to on the left.
