Description
Bicton Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of random limestone rubble and has a machine-tile roof. The building features a central ridge stack and a mid-19th century external end stack on the left side. It stands two storeys tall and has four windows that are irregularly spaced, with 20th-century three-light casements. The layout follows a baffle entry plan, including an axial chimney and a wide 20th-century hipped-roofed porch, which leads to a mid-19th century four-panelled door. There is a lean-to structure on the right side, and the rear of the farmhouse is partially timber framed.
