Description
The building is a former barn, cowshed, and stables located about 60 meters east of Church Farmhouse. It is likely from the 18th century and features rubblestone walls with graded slate roofs. The structure has an L-shaped plan along the north and east sides of the farmyard.
The north range includes former stables and a cowshed with a hayloft above, accessed by tallet steps at the gable end. It has four doorways with cambered heads on the ground floor, four eaves hatches, and ventilation shafts, all supported by a King post roof. The east range consists of a threshing barn, which has a wide entrance that is blocked on the west side, along with a cowshed and stable that also has a loft above. This section features irregularly spaced doorways, narrow ventilation shafts, and three eaves hatches, with a King post roof spanning six bays.
