Manor House. C16 or early C17, re-modelled early C18 with late C19 additions and alterations. Red brick, planted timber framing to East front. Plain tiled roofs. Garden front of 2½ storeys, 3 gabled bays, imitation stone floor bands, 2 projecting 2 storeyed late C19 canted bays to left and right gables; glazing bar sash window to first floor above central entrance, C18 lunette to central attic gable, glazing bar sashes to left and right gables; all windows including C19 leaded casements on ground floor to either side of projecting bays, with imitation stone lintels and raided keystones, ramped coping at each end with ball finials; brick ridge stacks to left and right of central gable and to left of left hand gable, C20 verandah over entrance, Sun Fire Insurance plate late C19 extensions to left and right. Planted timbering to East front probably conceals C16 or early C17 timber framed house of hall type with projecting cross wings. Interior has fine Caroline staircase with heavy turned balusters, and contemporary decorative oak panelling to the hall and left hand ground floor front room.
