Description

Barnfield Memorial is an early 19th-century churchyard monument located about 7 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St. Milburga in Beckbury. It is constructed of ashlar and features an octagonal pier that stands approximately 1.2 meters high. The memorial has a moulded plinth and capping, with a vase on top that includes a cast iron urn finial. The inscription on the memorial is only partially legible and commemorates members of the Barnfield family.
