Description

Quarry House is an early 19th-century house situated on the north side of High Street in Beckbury. The house is constructed of red brick with a low-pitched slate roof and projecting brick end stacks. It is two storeys high and features a brick dentilled eaves cornice. The front elevation has three windows, with single-hung glazing bar sashes on the first floor. A central six-panel door is set within an open pedimented doorcase, above which is a radiating fanlight. Flanking the main block are single-storey, one-bay wings with ramped coping, containing numerous pinned sash windows to the front and a circular window to one side.
