Description

The Pastures is an early 19th-century house located on the north side of Long Lane in the parish of Kirk Langley. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof with brick gable stacks. The building has a brick dentil eaves cornice and stands two storeys tall, plus garrets. The south elevation is symmetrical with three bays. The central doorway is round-headed and has a moulded surround, with a 20th-century panelled door and a traceried fanlight above. On either side of the doorway are glazing bar sash windows under wedge lintels, and there are three similar windows above, with the inner window being one pane narrower.
