Description

Langley Barton is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile hipped roof, which is gabled at the rear. The building has two brick ridge stacks and one gable stack, along with a stone eaves cornice. It is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys. The west elevation is symmetrical with three bays. The central doorway is framed by a wooden doorcase with a shallow hood, leading to a raised and fielded panelled door with a rectangular overlight above. On either side of the doorway are glazing bar sash windows set under wedge lintels, with three similar windows located above on the upper floor.
