Description
The former stable block, located to the west of Meynell House, is an early 19th-century building that has been converted into residential use. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof. The building is designed in an L-shape and has two storeys. A stone sill band runs along the first floor, and there is a sawtooth eaves cornice. The south elevation has three bays, with a central elliptical carriage arch that has a single stepped surround and a pair of diagonal plank doors. To the right of the arch is a glazing bar sash window, while to the left is a pointed arched window with a stone surround and Gothick glazing. Above, there are three similar windows. A clock dial is positioned at the eaves. The rear wing has a five bay east elevation, which also features similar Gothick windows and blocked pointed-arched doors, along with one 20th-century window.
