Description
The raised pavement, steps, and railings in front of numbers 1 to 5 Porkington Terrace were built around 1840. They are made of limestone and cast iron. The structure features a regularly coursed limestone wall that is one to five courses high, with a flight of eight steps at the southeast end, which serves as a revetment wall for the raised pavement. This pavement is topped with cast-iron railings that have pointed finials and standards capped with urns. There is a slight projecting break in the center that corresponds with number 3 Porkington Terrace. This feature is included for its group value.
