Description

Ford Cottage is a 17th-century house located in Strefford. It is timber-framed with plaster panels and has a plain tile roof, featuring a brick stack on the right front. The house is single-storey with an attic, and has a three-window front. The windows are 19th-century 2 and 3-light casements, protected by simple 20th-century wooden hoods. A timber-framed dormer window is positioned centrally to the left, containing a 19th-century 3-light casement under a chamfered plate. Two 20th-century box dormers are also present, the one on the right positioned over a rendered 20th-century bay. The interior was not inspected. The building has group value in this context.
